Everyone Loves A Comfortable Bath: Which Bathtub Style Is Right For You?

There is nothing like running a hot bath after a long day at work to melt away the stress. For some of us, it’s something we like to do all the time, and for others it’s something we enjoy doing every once in a while.

Obviously, your bathtub style will vary based on things like the size and space you have to work with, your bathroom design preferences, and how often you use the tub.

Ask yourself, “What is the primary use of your tub?”

Do you plan on soaking in the on a regular basis? Is it more for bathing the kids? Are you choosing the tub based on look and style? Choosing a tub that fits your lifestyle and budget is important.

Here are 5 bathtub styles worth considering:

  • Builder grade: Not the bath taking type? Then perhaps a builder grade bathtub is all you need. However, it’s still important to invest in a good quality tub that will fit with your bathroom design and stand the test of time.
  • Whirlpool tubs: If you love water jets and neck and back massages, then a whirlpool tub is a great option worth considering. These tubs come with adjustable jets, and no shortage of additional features to create a spa like atmosphere at home.
  • Soaker tubs: This is the perfect option for people that love to relax and soak in the tub for a while. Available in many different styles and with a variety of features to choose from, you will be able to find a great soaker tub at many different price ranges.
  • Claw foot tubs: This is the perfect option if you are going for a vintage look. They are a definite focal point of the bathroom, they are beautiful, and many now come with extra neck and head support, making your soak even more relaxing.
  • Walk in bathtubs: These are becoming an increasingly popular bathtub option. They are easy to get in and out of and come with a number of safety feature options, adjustable jets, handrails, and no slip surfaces.
